How can I help you?

I believe that counseling is a very personal and individual process. No two people find self-fulfillment and growth from the same methods or practices. I strive to cater to my therapeutic services to meet your specific needs and personality. You are the expert on your life. My counseling skills can help guide your journey and assist you in cultivating the life you want for yourself in individual therapy or for your relationship in couples/marriage counseling.

I am passionate about helping others get past the traumas of life that are holding them back. We all experience trauma in different ways throughout our lifetime. Most of the time we are successful in processing the trauma to naturally achieve post-traumatic growth. When something is particularly disturbing and hard to process, it can become painful and leads us to feel stuck. I help my clients process through to the other side to experience the growth that allows them to move forward.

Emotional Triggers Treatment (ETT)

Catherine is proud to offer her clients ETT which provides relief with PTSD, anxiety, depression, guilt/shame, grief, phobias and many other issues that are caused from unresolved trauma. When our minds access memories or pieces of past experiences into our current awareness, it can cause us to become overwhelmed with feelings of fear, anger, and guilt/shame. When this happens, we tend to react in ways that we do not feel like we can control in the moment. Once we have calmed down, we might then become critical of our behavior and the guilt/shame becomes even more prevalent.

ETT can help prevent these intense reactions by helping the mind find ways to resolve the trauma. This does not mean that memories will change, but it does means that our reactions can change. Imagine how it would be to not get triggered into fear or anger. This treatment can offer you relief from the overwhelming feelings that you cannot control.
